We wanted to give you an update on our journey towards getting your SoundBed to you and share some additional insight into our production process. For those who are waiting patiently, and for those who are considering joining our growing OPUS family, this is the inside track on SoundBed production.
With over 10,000 customers awaiting their SoundBeds, kicking off production was a considerable undertaking. Our initial delivery estimates were based on the factory’s projections and a meticulous plan to ramp production responsibly.
Thanks to the incredible response with finalizing your orders, we were able to fill batches quickly and place the necessary purchase order to support the projected timeline.
This crucial step helps to ensure the successful scaling of our assembly line and ultimately, producing and delivering SoundBeds in the most efficient way possible.
We’re thrilled to say that we are on track and making exciting progress:
- Production Samples Validation - Completed!
- Procurement of Components for First Purchase Order - Completed!
- Assembly Line Buildout and Refinement - Happening Now
- Small Batch Production - Happening Now
- Mass Production Ramp - Starts End of July
Here's the exciting part!
The first production samples have arrived at our HQ in Austin, and they are incredible!
Our first Production Batch is in progress with the first deliveries set for early August. Subsequent batches are also on schedule for delivery within their estimated windows between late August and November.
We will continue to provide regular updates on the production schedule and estimated delivery dates for each batch. As each batch leaves the factory, we'll offer a more precise estimate for your SoundBed's arrival. Once your SoundBed is in transit, you'll receive tracking information to follow its journey.
